Milan Cathedral (aka 'Duomo di Milano,' Milan, Italy)

The fourth largest cathedral in the world. Construction began in 1386, but the spires weren't added until 1745, and it wasn't until January 6, 1965 that the last gate was inaugurated and construction was deemed 'finished.'
